Melissa is a psychologist who’s therapy approach is holistic, strength-based, and grounded in compassion, curiosity, and collaboration. Her down-to-earth style creates a welcoming space where clients can safely navigate issues and engage in self-exploration and discovery.

Just as every person is unique, there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. Melissa believes in the integration the mind, brain, and body to support health and wellness, and this will look different for everyone. She is passionate about working alongside her clients to help them tap into their own wisdom and supporting them with knowledge and skills to achieve their goals.
As a ‘pracademic’, Melissa works across both academia and practice, allowing each to inform and enrich the other. Her academic pursuits include nearly 10 years of research in the area of health and behaviour change, including a PhD in exercise/health psychology.

Additionally, for over a decade, she has been teaching and coordinating subjects on mental health, wellbeing, and performance in tertiary education. Her practical work spans clinical, elite sports, and recreational settings, and working with both individuals and teams. Passionate about learning, Melissa stays at the forefront of evidence-based practices to ensure the best outcomes for her clients.
Outside of work, Melissa enjoys an active lifestyle, including regular gym and walking, being in nature, and spending quality time with family and friends.
